BCHS Vision and Mission as Decided by the Staff of BCHS

Vision: To prepare all students with the skills they need for the future. 

Mission: To provide equitable and quality instructional experiences for the whole student. 

In my math classes, I'm dedicated to fulfilling the BCHS vision by equipping all students with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing future.  This aligns perfectly with the district's profile of a graduate.  Through engaging and differentiated instruction, I foster students' growth as:

Self-Directed Navigators: becoming adept at researching solutions, independently tackling challenges, and setting personal learning goals in math.

Productive Collaborators: actively practice teamwork, communication, and constructive criticism as we explore math concepts together.

Innovative Problem Solvers: encouraging creative approaches to solving problems, building critical thinking and adaptability.
