About Me

Hi!  My name is Vanessa Gallahue.  I've been teaching at Bullitt East for 24 years.  During my years as an educator, I have taught a variety of courses including ENG 1, ENG 2, ENG 3, ENG 4 and Yearbook. This year I teach English 3 and ACT Remediation. I am also the facilitator for the English 101 Dual Credit courses.

I grew up in Bullitt County and am a 1995 graduate of North Bullitt High School. I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I received my Bachelor's Degree.  Several years later, I earned my Master's Degree at Indiana University Southeast.

I live in Louisville with my husband Brent. We have two wonderful boys, Taylor and Nate. Taylor is a junior at University of Kentucky and Nate is a senior at Louisville Male HS. I am also Mommy to a spoiled rotten cockapoo named Daisy. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, watching Netflix, and eating out.
