What is STEM?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math.

STEM is an integrated approach to learning that encourages students to think more broadly about real-world problems through critical thinking and process-based learning. STEM requires students to utilize inquiry and curiosity to find creative solutions to problems.

STEM is not about what, where or when – it’s about why and how. STEM is a process of application. It allows students to create meaning for themselves and others.
