About Me

I am so thankful to be a part of the MWES family!  Prior to coming to Mount Washington, I was the school counselor at Cedar Grove Elementary.  I have been a BCPS employee since the fall of 2000 when I was hired as music teacher at Overdale Elementary.

I hold a bachelor's degree in music education and a masters degree in education from Morehead State University.  I received my masters in school counseling from the University of Louisville.  I also have my National Board certification in early/middle childhood music.

I always knew I wanted to do more to help students and felt that counseling was a natural ‘fit’ for me.  I have always loved helping others and try to make things a little better for those around me every day!

My husband, Cameron, and I were married in October of 2007.  Since that time we have been blessed with the addition of our two daughters, Addison and Harper.  We also have a goldendoodle named Tucker. We enjoy spending time together as a family, attending church and riding our bikes! Addison rides horses competitively and plays volleyball.  Harper is a competitive cheerleader, so we stay busy with their activities as well!
