Algebra 3

Prerequisite: successful completion of Algebra 2 

Course Description: This course is intended for college-bound students not planning on pursuing a career in a  mathematical, scientific or technical field. This course is an option for those that want to continue in math  courses, yet are not wanting a course as rigorous as Precalculus. The content in this course will expand on the  topics of Algebra II and Geometry and thoroughly prepare you for College Algebra. Major topics include  functions (quadratic, exponential, radical, rational, and logarithmic) and their applications, solving polynomial  equations of any degree, rational equations and trigonometry.
