About Me

I am Lisa Overstreet, your school counselor. I have worked here at BCPS for my entire career of 24 years, teaching grades 2nd and 5th before coming a school counselor over 14 years ago. I started working at Shepherdsville Elementary when we opened the doors as a brand new school in 2005. I love our Stingray Family and the community in which I serve.

I have been married for over 30 years to my high school sweetheart, Gary. Together, we have 2 sons, Zach (and wife, Megan) and Andrew and one granddaugter, Makenzie. I have one spunky furbaby, Cash. I have lived in Bullitt County for over 30 years. My favorite things are spending time with family, visiting my home town of Russell Springs, traveling to the beach or the mountains, and being outdoors.
