Welcome to English 2!
Below you will find several things that you will need to familiarize yourself with for this class. These things will remain here for the entire school year in case you ever need to refer back to them. They will update regularly (as needed).
All materials (assignments, instructions, etc.) can be found on the Google Classroom.
The English 2 curriculum has a total of 4 major units that are as follows:
Unit 1: Argument
Unit 2: Rhetorical Analysis
Unit 3: Literary Analysis
Unit 4: Narrative
There will be at least one controlling text for each unit. Students will be supplied with copies of these texts (this is something that class fees cover).
These units are organized by the grading periods during the school year. ( ie: Unit 1= 1st Quarter)1st Period:
