Mr. Jennings - Library Media Specialist 

Hello, Brooks Elementary!  I am your new librarian!  I was a public librarian for 16 years for the Louisville Free Public Library. I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Brooks community and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.  

I have been married to my wife Emily for almost 12 years and we have two children, Cora, who is 8 and Nate, who is 6.  I grew up in the Okolona area and graduated from Southern High School in 1999.  I received my bachelor's degree from U of L in 2004 and my Master's in Library Science in 2010.  I am currently finishing up my degree in Library Media.      

I love spending time with my family, exercising, listening to podcasts, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, cooking and, of course, READING!  My wife and I read to our kids each night and have since they were born.  It's relaxing, sparks their imaginations, and strengthens our relationships.
