SCIENCE: Students constructed structures and tested them to see whether they could withstand simulated "earth events" and compared their constructions against their classmates'.
READING: Students read and cited information about rocks, fossils, and events such as erosion
WRITING: Students could choose to write a how-to essay, podcast script, or Youtube script using their research
