Building a better you for a better tomorrow
Feeling uprooted as the storms of life take charge?
It does not have to be this hard. You can go from feeling overwhelmed and defeated to knowing what you are capable of and loving who you are. Together we can find the root cause of what is pushing you down and keeping you there. I am here to help you navigate your way through it to not only survive, but thrive in life.
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University. Throughout my education I have completed extensive research and trainings in development, trauma and attachment though life. From conception our stories and experiences matter and they are continually shaping us into the people we will be tomorrow. As a trauma-informed therapist, I will work with you from a holistic framework that is guided by your specific needs. My specialized training in trauma informed and evidence-based practices assess the mind/body relationship and aim to provide the sense of safety and competence required for change to take place.
My therapeutic goal is to provide a nurturing and empowering environment where clients can learn their potential and feel their best.
My certifications and experience serve individuals struggling with:
Anxiety & Depression
ADHD
Trauma/Developmental Trauma
Relationship barriers
Disrupted Attachment
I offer my sessions in person and on teletherapy. Teletherapy is therapy provided on line via a HIPAA compliant video platform where you will be able to receive services from the comfort of your own home.
Modalities
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment for all ages that is effective for resolving emotional difficulties caused by disturbing, difficult, or frightening life experiences.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) addresses how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined with one another. Often times CBT helps us identify unwanted thoughts, overwhelming feelings and destructive behaviors.
Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) connecting and unwiring the distressful memories from a traumatic event through the identification of thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Play therapy targets the unique developmental needs of young children and adolescents, who often express themselves better through play activities than through verbal communication. Play often includes parent engagement and parent teachings.
