Get hands-on experience running a real business

Through the BUILD class, you learn what it takes to run your own small business with your teacher and a team of your classmates. And, you get UC- approved A-G elective credits.

Work with great mentors and pitch to judges

You'll work on a team with mentors from leading Bay Area companies to design a product, launch a business and pitch to judges to earn real money.

Explore your college and career interests

BUILDers also learn about college and career options by connecting with BUILD mentors and volunteers. One of the best ways to decide on your future college and career pathway is to hear from different working professionals!

What does it take?

Attend BUILD class during the school day
Participate in 3 BUILD-wide events per year
Communicate with your BUILD teacher, team members, and mentors.
