Barrel Racing

**With Horse:**

   - **Figure 8 Drills:** Focus on maintaining the correct lead and tight turns around barrels.

   - **Rate and Rollback Drill:** Practice approaching a barrel, stopping, and rolling back to simulate a sharp turn.

   - **Pattern Practice:** Run the full barrel pattern with an emphasis on speed control and smooth transitions.

Straight Line Drills: Work on speed and precision by running straight lines between barrels. 

**Without Horse:**

   - **Footwork Drills:** Run the barrel pattern on foot to practice the correct path and body positioning.

   - **Visualization Exercise:** Mentally run through the pattern, focusing on the timing of turns and the feeling of the horse’s movement.
