Joshua Colon is a Puerto Rican male born and raised in Sunset park Brooklyn.
Joshua is a US Navy veteran of 8 years and former NYC graphic designer/photographer; he joined the BUGS community as the physical Education and technology/graphic design teacher in 2015. Having received a Bachelors degree from St.Joseph's College and working as a paraprofessional for the DOE, Mr Josh made the transition to teaching to inspire students like he was inspired by his teachers. Mr. Josh brings his enthusiasm, knowledge, and respect for the importance of physical education while helping increase his students’ understanding of nutrition and health. Mr. Josh or “Sketch”, as he is known artistically, has a passion for art, singing, acting, and sports. When he is not teaching he enjoys playing video games, designing 3D art, making/designing clothes, working out, and playing sports.
