Sports Nutrition Senior, Chapter Service Project, Interpersonal Communications, and Parliamentary Procedure teams showcased their projects and were great ambassadors for our school and program.
In addition, each member worked in another competitive event to gain better insight and assist with the management of the contests. This is a huge learning experience in itself and challenged each of them to step out of their comfort zones and work with teachers and adults from other schools.
There were over 4300 members in attendance at the meeting, and many of these teams competed with schools of varying sizes and even some specialty Career and Technical Schools. Most of all though, they represented Buffalo High School and BISD with their absolute best.
Thank you to our seniors for stepping up and guiding the younger members, remember without alumni - none of this would be possible and Betsy will need evaluators next year! Makayla Gilliam finished her year of service.
Iveth, Lupita, Makayla, Callie and Betsy were recognized for completing all five units of Power of One. And, our chapter was honored as an Outstanding Gold Chapter for milestones reached throughout the year.
What a blessing to watch these projects and youth grow and develop throughout the year! It’s not over...we are still growing and rolling with Buffalo FCCLA!
We are beyond excited!
