CommonLit’s Summer Reading Challenge will begin on June 1, 2020 and will provide participating parents and their children with free, high-interest reading lists curated by our team of former teachers. Students can easily complete each lesson on CommonLit.org and will be eligible for a certificate of participation at the end of the summer.

Reading Bear, a project of WatchKnowLearn.org, is the first free program online to teach beginning readers vocabulary and concepts. With 50 presentations, covering even more phonics principles and illustrating over 1,200 vocabulary items, there is nothing else like it, free or otherwise.
