I'm Natalia Morandi Bel. I'm attending the last three 4th-year subjects of the teaching training college at INSPT-UTN. In 2020, I started the training-teaching college, right after the COVID-19 pandemic, so I attended the first two years of the course of studies online. I consider it a wonderful learning experience since I explored and learned how to use different meeting platforms and online resources to take advantage of both by being a student and a teacher. This year, I expect to expand my knowledge on technology and its uses, focusing on learning how to guide students in their language learning process while applying technology.
I've been teaching for almost 8 years, first at a school of English, where I worked with learners from young to adult, from A1 to upper-intermediate levels, and then in several schools at the primary level. Currently, I'm teaching at a public school in Villa Urquiza. Also, I teach private students online twice a week.
The web is a source of content which can be used as a window on the wider world outside your class.
— Dudeney, G. & Hockly, N. Teaching with Technology.
Technology is a life-changing advancement in many aspects, and especially in education. Even though it is often viewed as a controversial issue, I strongly believe that we can regard it more as an ally than an enemy in the classroom. For me, the key is for us, teachers, to know how to plan and organize its use within the classroom as well as teach and guide our students to make them independent and proper users of it. This does not mean that we should discard traditional resources or tools; on the contrary, we should be able to strike a balance between them and new technological devices to show our students what they have available and let them be the ones to choose from that variety.

Technology does not only help with what we assess; it can even help us produce relevant materials for assessment. Whether it is recording native or non-native speakers for listening comprehension work or finding interesting and relevant texts on the internet, technology can play a role.
