Our Community Library
In April 2012, Flackwell Heath became one of the first libraries within Buckinghamshire to transition to community library status, where services are organised and run by volunteers. In the case of Flackwell Heath, the Community Library is now run by a charity called the "Friends of Flackwell Heath Library" (FFHL).
Management of the library
The day to day running of the library is made up of FFHL volunteers and other residents who wish to support the village library. At the Annual General Meeting, the 'Friends' will vote on the election of the charity’s Trustees.
The Flackwell Heath Community Library is a UK Registered Charity - Number 1146528.

Become a Friend of the Library
We need regular operating funds to provide our services to the local community and you can really help.
You can become a Friend of the Library and make a regular subscription (we ask for a minimum of only £5 per year per person but we are very grateful to those who generously give more).
For just £5 per year each Friend is entitled to discounted tickets to most library events. As a Friend you are a member of the charity and therefore able to vote at our Annual General Meeting. You would also have a vote on the election of Committee members.
Please contact us by phone: 01296 382415 or email: fhcl@flackwellheath.net to become a Friend of Flackwell Heath Library.
