Kim Mallery - EMS Captain

The members of Trumbauersville Fire Company are saddened to announce the death of EMS Captain and Life Member Kim Mallery. She passed away early Monday morning, April 11, 2022, after a 4 year battle with cancer. Kim was an integral part of all operations within the department and will be dearly missed. Please keep the Mallery family in your thoughts and prayers.

It is with deep regret that the officers and members of the Trumbauersville Fire Company No 1 announce the passing of life member Kimberly (Kim) D. Mallery on April 11, 2022. Kim fought a long and hard battle but went peacefully home to be with her lord. Kim always had a certain grin and laugh that you could tell when she was around. Besides her love for the fire company, she also had a very strong love for her family.

Kim was a very hard worker in everything she did whether it was nursing, family or fire company events. Kim was very involved on the executive side of the fire company holding the offices of recording secretary, director, relief association secretary and delegate. She was an active member on many committees and also a chairperson. She tried various new ideas on various fund raising events to help raise additional funds. Kim loved the Easter Flowers, hoagie sales and running the kitchen at bingo’s the best.

Kim was very instrumental in starting, managing and over seeing the QRS from its conception to present. As captain of the QRS, she scheduled and also instructed some of the training classes of the members to maintain the high quality service that the QRS provides to our community. She was always willing to help do whatever it took to get a job done, and done correctly.

Kim will be sadly missed by family, friends, members and anyone that knew her. Her shoes will be hard to fill in the future.

Memorial services for Kim Mallery will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at United Church of Christ 101 North Main Street Trumbauersville, Pa, 18970. Viewing will be from 9:30 AM – 11 AM and the service at 11 AM. Internment will immediately follow at Christ Union Cemetery and refreshments will be at the Trumbauersville Fire Company. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Trumbauersville Fire Company, PO Box 142, Trumbauersville, Pa. 18970.
