I completed a BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a MS in Integrative Biology from Kennesaw State University, and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Penn State. After finishing my PhD, I was a postdoc in the Cognitive Evolution Group at the University of Michigan with Dr Rosati.

Abby Szikman is a Senior at Bucknell University. She is pursuing a BA in Animal Behavior and on the pre-vet track. She is interested in Squirrel Monkey cognition. In her spare time she raises service dogs.

I’m a psychology major in the class of 2026, and this is my first time conducting research with primates. I’m especially interested in behavior and cognition, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in the classroom to hands-on research. I’m also a member of the Bucknell men’s basketball team.
