Advocacy

Representing our school at Wake County Board meetings to keep us up to date with decisions and news we need to know.

Audit
Gina  Wilner
Assisting our treasurer in checking the budget & spending.

Hospitality
Alysha Morris & Emily Smith
Provides meals and treats for teachers & staff throughout the school year! This committee also plans a celebration for Staff Appreciation Week in May.

Spirit
Jessica Hardesty
Organize & plan the design and vendor of school spiritwear, which includes shirts, magnets, tumblers, etc.)

Care & Compassion
Meghan McDowell
Working with school counselors on what extra needs our students have and coordinate donations for them.

Yearbook
Jessica Hardesty
Creation and Distribution of the yearbook! This includes taking/acquiring pictures from throughout the school year.

Fundraising
Jenny Patchett
Planning and Execution of fundraisers for the PTA to gain funds to support the school.

Book Fair

Assist in planning and execution of this week long event including a teacher preview, grandparent's day, and family night.

Family Enrichment

Planning and executing family events to connect school and family, such as family movie night.

Cultural Arts
Jessica Lund
Coordinate cultural arts events, which are opportunities to bring in groups through music, theater, history, & dance to provide educational experience for students.

Staff Birthday Celebrations
Sharon Black
Makes monthly staff birthday announcements & orders treats to ensure teachers & staff are celebrated.

Landscaping
Assisting in spreading mulch, adding flowers, and attending to other outdoor needs.
(This committee doesn't have a coordinator and we would love a volunteer!)
