Here, your Language Arts skills are put to the test through challenges aligned with the 7th-grade CAASPP standards. Work your way through the Vault of Text, Hall of Arguments, and Chamber of Craft to earn the Defender of Dignity Badge. Move to the Root Realm to continue the story.
📖 In the Vault of Text, you analyze informational texts and literary passages, identifying central ideas and explaining how they develop. You answer riddles like: What is the theme of this fable? How does the character's journey reveal it? Each correct interpretation earns you a Gem of Insight. Earn five gems to work toward a Key of Competence.

A debate breaks out between two enchanted statues—and only your well-reasoned writing can resolve it. With each polished paragraph, you restore part of the Scroll of Persuasion and earn one Packet of Persuasion. If you are persuasive enough and earn five packets, you'll be ready for a Key of Competence.

Spells of vague language are cast around you, but with strong word choice and sentence variety, you break through and craft passages with voice and power. As you improve through revision, you will earn a Token of Technique. Five tokens can set you up for a Key of Competence.
