Battle of the Books (BOB)

What is BOB? The Battle of the Books is a club sponsored by Ms. Leszinske, the RHMS Library Associate. Students will form teams and compete to answer trivia questions about ten awesome books. RHMS teams will compete against each other, the Camerado and Valley View Middle School teams, as well as schools from the Placerville area.

Wait - do I have to read all 10 books to be on a BOB team? You don't have to read all 10 books, but you might want to - they're great! Plan on reading at least 2-3 of the books by around December 1. Students who don't fulfill this commitment are welcome to attend meetings, but won't earn a spot on a competitive team. Books will be available for checkout from the RHMS Library.

What's the time commitment? Varies, depending on how many books you read, and how long you study. We will also have BoB meetings at school - either during lunch or during Focus.
