About Mrs. Kamman

I have been a teacher in the Buckeye District for 16 years and teaching art at Rolling Hills for 14 years. I currently teach Exploratory Art, Advanced Art and I am the advisor for the Bengal Weekly News Video Bulletin staff.

I have always been an art enthusiast! I have been creating and studying art my whole life. I like to dabble in all kinds of mediums including (but not limited to!) drawing, painting, sculpture/ceramics, mixed media art, digital art, photography, crafting, and extreme cake decorating!

I have known I wanted to go into teaching since I was in 3rd grade. I went to Oak Ridge, then CSU Monterey Bay to earn my Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Visual and Public Art. Then I  attended UC Santa Cruz where I got my Masters degree in Education and my teaching credential.

I met my husband Sol on the first day of college and we've been together for 21 years. He is also an artist (digital/video) who works primarily for Intel making training videos. We have 2 daughters, Lola (a 7th grader at RHMS) and Piper (a 2nd grader at Silva) and 3 cats; Zeus, Maui and Shoresy. We love to go camping and travel, draw, swim, ride bikes, play board games, throw parties, cook and spend time with our friends and family.
