Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a critical framework which supports schools worldwide in creating a climate where all students can achieve and learn. PBIS is one of the foremost advancements in school-wide systems of support; it utilizes proactive strategies which define, teach, and support students while promoting a positive school climate.

Silva Valley Behavior Expectations Matrix

Silva Valley is a model school of positive behavior implementation. Our school-wide expectations are posted throughout campus and are explicitly modeled by all staff. Our Golden Eagles know what it means to show Repect, be Responsible, and be Safe while on campus. Through the collaborative efforts of the PBIS leadership team and our PTA, students can use earned tickets to be honored and receive prizes both in classrooms and during our amazing lunchtime ticket draws!
