Welcome to eighth grade at Camerado Springs Middle School! I'm so happy you're here. This website will provide everything you need this school year. Please take a look around and familiarize yourself. We will be going over this website together the first week of school. I look forward to meeting you!

You will find our "plan" for the school year here as wells as my classroom expectations and policies. We will go over this in length (in addition to the school handbook rules) the first couple days of school so everyone has an opportunity to ask questions and have a clear understanding of my expectations before the school year starts.
Here you will find the calendar of classwork and homework. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make up the work in a timely manner. Remember, you have as many days as you were absent to make up the work. No late work is accepted so be sure to get it completed and turned in on time. This is the time to lean into your self efficacy and independence. If you have a question, shoot me an email.
Please check your grades regularly. I grade and input assignments, quizzes and tests within a couple days of the due date and essays within two weeks of the due date. If you have a blank in the gradebook it means I never received your work in the inbox. Just as a heads up, although I'm pretty darn organized even teachers make mistakes. Be sure the grade received is what is reflected in your grade on the assignment.
This is a collection of the notes we take in class. These are updated daily so be sure to check here if you're absent to get notes. We have one notes quiz a quarter and it's worth a substantial amount of points. Be sure you are up-to-date on your daily class notes.
