Meet Your Teacher

 This is my 17th year teaching! I’ve lived in El Dorado Hills for the past 20 years, although I’ve also called Southern California, South Florida, and Denver home. My husband and I recently celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary, and we have two grown children.

Teaching is my second career. I earned a master’s degree in business and spent more than a decade working as a contract negotiator in healthcare. After that, I was fortunate to stay home with my children for nine years. When my youngest started first grade, I returned to school to earn my teaching credential and begin the next chapter of my career.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time in warm water, traveling, attending theater productions (especially musicals!), and, most of all, spending time with friends and family. I’m looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and connecting with my students!
