Meet Your Teacher

  This is my 16th year teaching. I live in El Dorado Hills with my husband, my mother-in-law, and our dog, Tino. My husband and I just celebrated our 34th anniversary and we have two grown kids. Our oldest graduated from college in 2021 and moved to NYC and our youngest just graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2024 and is substitute teaching.  Teaching is a 2nd career for me. I have a masters degree in business and I worked as a contract negotiator in healthcare for over a decade before staying home with my kids for 9 years. I went back to school to earn my teaching credential when my youngest entered 1st grade. My favorite hobbies are reading, pool time, traveling, attending theatre productions (especially musicals!) and spending time with friends and family.
