Intro

Hi, my name is Daniel Ulrich and I'm a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Boston University. I am currently studying mechanical engineering to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a roller coaster engineer. Through my coursework, I often try to find connections to the theme park industry since that specific application of engineering skills if often not discussed in a classroom setting. This page includes a professional portfolio of my engineering coursework and projects that help demonstrate those professional skills.

I also am currently the president and founder of the Terrier Ride Engineering Club (TREC) which helps me share this passion with other engineers who may not be aware of the opportunities in the theme park industry. The photo to the left is from a trip I took to a conference called SKYnext for young professionals in theme park engineering, and I hope to help encourage and fund the next generation of theme park engineers at BU.
