All of the graphics in this presentation were generated using OpenAI Stable Diffusion with the only exceptions included under "The Architecture of Alvar Aalto." Slides number 19, 21, 22, and 23 are actual photographs, the only "real" images included in this presentation.
There is a sort of trompe l'oeil technique that I used several times to make images more realistic. Take a look at the "photo" on the right side of slide 3. I appears to be casual photo of cave paintings, maybe by a tourist, and includes the arm of another person taking in the sights. On slides 14, 15, and 16, what are obviously portraits done in a painterly style with obvious brushstrokes are enclosed by realistic frames and hanging on walls and in a studio that, by comparison, appear to be real places.
