Originally from Thailand, I began my linguistic journey in Moscow, where I did my Bachelor's degree in Russian Language. The curiosity in Russian grammar brought me to the Linguistic Department at the University of Leipzig in Germany, where I completed my MA in Linguistics and realized I wanted to pursue Theoretical Linguistics in academia.
I moved to Boston to begin my PhD in Linguistics at Boston University. Through my studies, I have developed a special interest in Syntax and its interfaces. In terms of related phenomena, I am curious about argument structure, agreement mismatch, and A/A'-distinctions. Outside the syntactic subfield, I carried out projects on co-compound constituent order. I am currently working on a passive-like construction in Thai.
Outside academia, I enjoy cooking, science, and paleontology shows featuring weird living creatures (short videos featuring cute animals, such as cats, dogs, and capybaras, also count!).
