I am an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Division of Behavioral Biology within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
My broad interests concern the behavioral pharmacology of drugs of abuse and the neurobiology of addiction. My current projects use preclinical models (rodents, nonhuman primates) to test the efficacy of novel medications for alcohol use disorder and assess the behavioral effects of cannabinoids (e.g. THC, CBD) administered via translational routes of administration (oral, vaped). For more detailed information about our cannabinoid research going on in the Division of Behavioral Biology, check out the Johns Hopkins Cannabis Science Lab website.
