I'm a sixth year PhD candidate in Mathematics at Boston University studying with Margaret Beck. I received my B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Bowdoin College in 2020. I am broadly interested in applying dynamical systems theory to address problems in environmental science, biology, and the social sciences. For more information, see my CV, or if you prefer, my brief CV.
I am currently involved in four on-going research projects.
In my thesis work with Margaret Beck, I am interested in the existence of exponential dichotomies for elliptic PDEs which allow for the construction of bounded patterns relevant to biological, chemical, or physical processes. My project aims to extend the theory of exponential dichotomies and spatial dynamics to higher-dimensional spatial domains. You can learn more from this poster which I recently presented.
I am one of the members of an AIM SQuaRE modeling transient immune responses to repeated viral exposures using flow-kick dynamical systems: An immuno-epidemiological model for transient immune protection: A case study for viral respiratory infections.
In collaboration with Jonathan Jaquette, I apply numerical and computer-assisted proof techniques to study the structure invariant sets of excitable flow-kick dynamical systems.
As a continuation of my undergraduate thesis, I work with Mary Lou Zeeman on developing a framework for understanding transient reactivity in two-dimensional linear differential equations. A summary of this project can be found here.

At BU, I am currently a co-organizer of the Directed Reading Program. I love mentoring undergraduate students and am proud to be the co-advisor of a UROP-funded undergraduate research project. I have served as both president and secretary of the AMS Graduate Student Chapter and helped to establish the Math & Stats Graduate Teaching Seminar.
I am also a member of the Math Climate Research Network (MCRN) where I am an organizer for the Northeast region and a coordinator of the mentoring program.
