School Counselor Mission Statement: The mission of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School Counseling Program is to serve as an advocate for all students at DDE. My goal is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that focuses on academic, career and social development. As middle school is a period growth and discovery of self identity, it is important to empower our students to maximize their potential and excel in a diverse society.
As a Professional School Counselor, I will work with students on an individual basis, in small groups and in their classrooms. The focus of the counseling program is to enhance academic skills, career awareness, and personal/social skills. We also attend parent-teacher conferences at the request of the parent/guardian or teacher, as our schedule allows.
