I'm your school counselor, Dr. Jennifer Valtos! This is my first full year at DDE Middle School and I'm very excited to be here. My role is to serve as a resource for the students, their loved ones, and the school community. My door is always open, literally and figuratively!
I don't have all the answers, and that's OK. I am committed to walking alongside the students as they navigate the challenges, questions, and opportunities that come their way. Together, we will figure things out because middle school is hard.

School Counselor Mission Statement: The mission of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School Counseling Program is to serve as a resource and advocate for each student at DDE. My goal is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that focuses on academic, career, and social development. As middle school is a period growth and discovery of self identity, it is important to empower our students to maximize their potential and excel in a diverse society.
As a Professional School Counselor, I will work with students on an individual basis, in small groups, and in their classrooms. The focus of the counseling program is to enhance academic skills, career awareness, and personal/social skills.
