Staff Information

Member Duties:

• Be present at every meeting. Let Mrs. Mims know if you are unable to attend. We meet Tuesdays after school in B332.

• Be present at the staff meeting to select pieces for the magazine.

• Help plan and work the Poetry Café in February.

• Help create the magazine at work days.

• Help recruit new members for next year.

Juniors and Seniors with at least one year of Page One experience can apply for an editor position. Here are the added duties of an editor: 

• Be present at every meeting to lead your staff. Let Mrs. Mims know if you are unable to attend.

• Get to know your staff and have their contact information. Encourage participation.

• Take roll for your staff using the binder at meetings.

• Set a time and place to meet with your staff in late February/early March that works with as many staff members as possible to select pieces for the magazine.

• Attend the editor only layout meeting in late March.

• Edit the magazine before production.

• All member duties.
