2021 K-6 Literacy Activities
Please find a link to a few resources I have created that may be of use to your teachers during this online learning period. It is my hope to add to this file over the coming week(s). These resources are built around the 2021 Shortlisted Books and have both a paper mode, which can be printed and sent home or sections copied into Goggle Classroom/Google Sites or a slide version , which may be used in conjunction with Screencastify for short presentations.Teachers can contextualise these for their own classes. Each text could be a focus over a couple of weeks, with activities integrated across English and other KLA's. I have also included a copy of the Book Week Guide, which also has some book focuses and activities that could be adapted for online learning.
