Service Overview
Our Data Security and Privacy Support Service assists school districts' development and ongoing compliance with Part 121 of the Commissioner's Regulations relating to Ed Law 2-d.

In partnership with RIC one, NYSED, and other entities, the tools and resources we develop will help your district accomplish the following requirements of Ed Law 2-d and Part 121 Regulations.
Regional Session Schedule
SCRIC Data Security & Privacy (DSP) Regional Sessions for Education Law 2-d Requirements & NIST CSF Implementation
The SCRIC DSP Service has developed a session schedule designed to support districts with implementing Education Law 2-d requirements and other data security and privacy initiatives. Each session will cover the following:
Highlight new resources!
Review important data security and privacy topics such as district software, staff training, incident response planning, and more.
Align topics and district work with NIST CSF framework controls
Provide pertinent regional updates and opportunities for participants to ask questions!
Details about the topics and other information expected to be covered in each session will be sent out prior to the meeting via the SCRIC DSP Service Listserv.
