CORE PURPOSE:

The School Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and dependable transportation of individuals within the school environment. This position is primarily focused on efficiently and securely transporting staff, students, and visitors to and from various destinations as required by the school. The School Driver is responsible for upholding a high level of professionalism, strict adherence to traffic regulations, and a paramount commitment to the safety and comfort of passengers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

• Possession of a valid driver's licence appropriate for the class of vehicle.

• Proven safe driving record, free from any traffic violations for at least the last 5 years.

• Official driver experience, with supporting references from previous employers highlighting  behaviour, driving and navigation skills.

• Knowledge of how to actively maintain vehicles and basic mechanical skills.

• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

• Knowledge and experience in route planning and scheduling. Timing departures, routes to be taken with alternative back-ups, in order to arrive at the designated destinations safely and on time.

CORE PURPOSE:

The Specialist Learning Assistant (SLA) for Primary PHE will be required to have a strong foundation of knowledge, skills and understanding in Primary Education, alongside a specialism in Physical and Health Education (PHE).

The role involves supporting and enhancing the delivery of PHE lessons and activities, promoting active participation, physical development, and wellbeing of students. Responsible for providing, coordinating and supervising a centralised administration support function for the Property Service Department, that comprises; Campus Facilities & Services,  Building & Maintenance, Health, Safety and Environment,  Security, Traffic, Events and Project Management as well as handling the Campus Helpdesk administration to ensure whole of Campus needs are met and actioned efficiently.
