Mr. Abbey

Mr. Abbey has been teaching at Flynn for over 20 years. He started teaching in San Francisco, CA, before moving to Vermont with his wife Molly. He has three teenage kids who have turned his hair a distinguished grey. You can see Mr. Abbey as the host of the Flynn Talent Show or out on the kickball at recess. Outside of school, Mr. Abbey enjoys making bread, building houses and biking along Lake Champlain.

Ms. Tinson

This is Ms. Tinson's 10th year of teaching. She graduated from Champlain College with her undergraduate degree and The Vermont Mathematics Initiative at the University of Vermont with her master's degree. Outside of school, Ms. Tinson enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, ice skating and skiing. She is also a big Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Mrs. Simmons

Mrs. Simmons grew up in Utica, NY and moved to Vermont in 1993. She has two children, two step-children and two step-grandchildren. She has worked at Shelburne Community School, Wolcott Elementary, and most recently at Addison Central School. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Simmons enjoys taking walks with her husband and dog, Mugsy, reading, and teaching herself to knit.
