Music Production Club

Interested in learning about Music Production and Songwriting?

"Introduction to Music Production" will provide hands-on study of recording studio techniques and aesthetics. Students will collaborate to write songs and create original studio work, while developing listening and technical skills for audio production.

The Club is looking to start in October will be a 10 week course, and will get students creating immediately, while learning the following material:

Overview of Recording Music - Basic techniques of recording. Basic theory of sound

Intro to Analog Recording - Intro to microphones, sound boards, other basic equipment.

Intro to Digital Recording - Intro to recording software (Garage Band, Logic, ProTools)

Intro to Digital Production - Intro to production electronic music & hip hop beats

Intro to Mixing & Mastering - Intro to post - production aspects of recording.

Sign-ups Will be Sent out Monday October 3rd

Start Date is October 17th.
