Attendance Policy

The 2023-24 NHS attendance policy aims to keep our members engaged and is as follows:

Members are expected to attend the meetings each month. Meetings are held on every other Thursday after school at 3:15 PM. 

If you will not be able to attend, email the Vice President, Norah Miller, at millern1@bsdvt.org to excuse the absence. Communication about absences after the meeting is not acceptable--the absence will still be considered unexcused.

Unexcused absences are handled as follows:

• You will receive an email from the VP for each unexcused absence

• At 2 unexcused absences, you will receive a warning email from the VP

• At 3 unexcused absences, you will receive a warning email from the VP and our teacher leaders

• At 4 unexcused absences, you will be dismissed from the National Honor Society
