Michael Mleko

Violinist • Teacher

Michael is a graduate of Montana State University with a degree in Music Education and is in his third year of teaching with Bozeman Public School District. In addition to his studies at Montana State University, Michael has spent more than 17 years studying music and violin. Several teachers of note include Linda Meuret, Stephen Cepeda, Carrie Krause, and Angella Ahn. Having developed a passion for performance at a young age, he continues to pursue an active performance career in addition to working as the music teacher at Morning Star Elementary School. He has performed with ensembles around the state of Montana for 12 years, as both a section player and a principal player. These ensembles include Bozeman Symphony, Big Sky Strings, Big Sky Classical Music Festival Orchestra, Montana Ballet Company Orchestra, Butte Symphony, and Helena Symphony. He currently performs as a Violinist in the Big Sky String Ensemble, a Section Violinist in the Bozeman Symphony, and as Principal 2^nd Violin in the Helena Symphony.
