BSD7 belongs to the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) of Montana, and we adhere to their guidelines regarding the use of all third-party resources.
In order to use any third-party resource, BSD7 requires that the vendor/company signs the Montana Data Privacy Agreement (DPA). Please take a few minutes to read through this document and get a general understanding of our district's privacy policy.
Step 1: BSD7 Approved Resources
Reference this document for an alphabetized list of approved resources. We do our best to keep this list current and consistent with the Montana SDPC database. If your resource is approved, you may use it with students immediately. If you do not see your resource in the Approved section, scroll down to page 4 to see if it is on the Pending list.
If your resource is Pending, you must wait until it appears in the Approved section. There are no additional steps for you to take at this time.
If your resource is not listed in the Pending section, please move on to the next step.
Step 2: Submit Kissflow Form
If your desired resource is not listed, please submit the I Want to Use This! form on Kissflow. Submission of this form will initiate our process for requesting the vendor to sign the Montana Data Privacy Agreement (DPA). Once the vendor has signed the agreement, you will be notified that the resource has been approved, and it will be added to our Approved section. You may not use the resource until that time.
⚠️ Update for 2020-21 – We can no longer create anonymous logins for students. We simply cannot risk sharing student PII that could be abused in the event of a data breach.
