Hawthorne Choir Info

What: Students at Hawthorne have the exciting opportunity to join the Hawthorne Choir! Any student in third, fourth, or fifth grade is welcome to join. The students will work on expression, creativity, team building, confidence, and healthy singing habits through a wide variety of activities and choral repertoire. Throughout the year the choir will perform at various functions at school and in the community.

When and Where: Rehearsals will be in the Hawthorne music room every Monday after school from 3:35-4:15. Our first rehearsal will be September 24^th.

Cost: Free!

If your student is interested in seeing what choir is all about, they are encouraged to attend the first rehearsal on September 24^th! If your student wants to be in choir, please complete the form below and return it to Mrs. Arnold by Monday, October 1^st.

Hawthorne Choir Expectations

Please review the following guidelines for participation in the Hawthorne Choir:

We understand that rehearsals are important and that choir members are expected to attend all rehearsals and to arrive on time. Repeated absences from choir may result in sitting out of a performance.

We understand that rehearsal ends at 4:15 and that students will be picked up then or will go to the after-school program. Repeated late pick-ups may incur charges from the after-school program.

We understand that the privilege of being in choir requires the members to be positive ambassadors of Hawthorne Elementary. This means choir members will maintain good behavior at school and in the Bozeman community.
