Welcome to the Westview Club Tennis Team's website! This club has been made for a variety of reasons. Most importantly, it is to help people who are interested in making the team, Varsity or Junior Varsity. Or you can join this club for just the pleasure of playing tennis. Whatever the reason, this club will improve your understanding of tennis and help you train to become a better tennis player. We will have weekly 30 minute meetings covering information on practice times and locations, rules, tips and tricks, watching clips of grand slams, and the weekly standings. Each week we will also have practice on Friday for 1 hour typically at the Westview tennis courts on campus (unless stated otherwise.) Meetings are not required, but recommended.

- Where: N219
- When: 2:45-3:15
- What: We will be covering information about future events and discussing rules. We will also be watching tennis videos or if it's nice outside and we haven't had practice in a while we will host practice on this day. I will make an announcement of this either by email, note on the door of the classroom, or through this website.
- Why: Meetings are important for conveying information and socializing since when we are on the court we will mostly be practicing.
Fridays:
Fridays:
- Where: @Westview Tennis Courts or @PCC Tennis courts (if Westview courts are not available.) If there is rainy weather or it is too cold out, we will think of another option (like running, basketball, ect.) If none of these are options or we are in desperate need of a break, I will inform everyone that the practice will be canceled.
- When: 2:30-4:00, unless stated otherwise. Tournaments may take up more time then regular practice days. We also may host tournaments on weekends if the weather is clear enough and we have enough participation.
- What: We will usually have free hit time (2:30-2:50), stretching time/warm up (2:50-3:05), information of what we are doing for practice that day (3:05-3:10), drills and practice (3:10-3:30), and then practice matches to determine rankings (3:30-4:00). These ranking matches will usually be first to 4 games with a 7 point tiebreak at 4 all (win by two points in the tiebreak.)
