About Me
My name is Chase Layman. At Southridge High School, I had the opportunity to enroll in the IB Career Pathway program and become a highly proficient individual in academics, service learning, and personal development.
During the last two years, I learned a lot about my own interests and values. Combined with my love for board games, such as Monopoly and Catan, the Marketing CTE Pathway solidified my decision to go into the business and economics fields during my time in college. In the fall, I will be going to Tulane to double major in Political Economy and International Development.
The IB's academic rigor has made me confident that I am ready for college-level courses. After having a heavy load of IB classes for two years, I have developed a tendency to always find something to do. I am confident that this efficient, natural mechanism will guarantee to keep me from falling behind in classwork.

I then went on to IB Business Management SL in my senior year, which is not a CTE class, but discusses similar topics.
