Due to extended library periods this year, each class now comes once a week with either their homeroom teacher (5th grade) or their ELA teacher (6th grade) for a mini lesson AND checkout.
Students may have two books checked out at a time. Typically, one book is used in the classroom as part of reading workshop instruction, and the other is a free choice book. Students are always free to bring books from home or other libraries to read in the classroom or library.
