EdPuzzle -- An easy way to engage your students with videos. You search & select an existing video from YouTube, Khan Academy, Crash Course, etc. or upload your own. Enable self-paced learning with interactive lessons buy adding your voice, comments, or questions along the video. You can also cut videos so that you only use the parts you really want! You can also see who has watched your video and how many times they have done so, along with the answers to any embedded questions.

Nearpod -- Nearpod provides a host of pre-made, fully-interactive lessons developed by subject matter experts for all school levels and subjects. Furthermore, Nearpod allows teachers to import lessons from any file type and begin adding interactive elements, web-links or video snippets to them. Educators can then synchronize their prepared lessons to all students devices, casting the lesson simultaneously to each student and able to monitor their progress throughout the lesson. What really set’s Nearpod out from the crowd is their innovative ideas for further enhancing interactive lessons. Nearpod users have access to Nearpod 3D, providing fully rotatable 3D images to use for teaching, and Nearpod VR, allowing integration with Smartphone VR headsets like Google Cardboard to create virtual field trips for students. However, after 30 days this will ask for $10 per month.

PlayPosit -- PlayPosit is an online learning environment to create and share interactive video lessons. Teachers begin with any online video (screencasts, Khan Academy, TED, etc.) and transform what is traditionally passive content into an active experience for students, with time-embedded activities.

Screencast-O-Matic -- Create up to 15 minute recordings using screen recording and webcam recording. You can then save your recording as a video or publish to your YouTube channel. Must be used on a Windows PC or Mac Computer.

Screencastify -- This is a Chrome Extension that allows you to turn your screen into a live video recording. This is great if you want to create your own lessons and record your own voice. This could be used with a slideshow, as a teacher may want to embed additional commentary or information.

Teachem -- Teachem is a web service that allows teachers to create lessons around YouTube videos. They can also interact with videos through adding comments, questions and notes in the form of flashcards that can be pinned to videos.

TED Ed -- TED Ed is a website that allows teachers to create lessons around YouTube videos. Teachers can select YouTube videos and use their URLs to add questions in different formats. The added value of this tool is that it has a section where teachers can track stats of how many has answered answers and hoa mnay students have seen the lesson.
