The 3rd Annual Northern RI College & Career Showcase will take place at Wright's Farm on Wednesday, September 24th! Currently, we are expecting over 70 colleges and over 40 career employers to be on site. All juniors and seniors will be invited to attend. Permission slips will be available through advisory next week and are due back to Ms. Crenca by Friday 9/19. Contact FerraroG@bsd-ri.net with any questions.
The first DECA meeting for the school year will be on Wednesday, September 10th immediately after school in A-36, Mr. Santoro‘s room. If you have any questions, please stop by and talk to someone at the school store.
Any student interested in joining the Weight club, we will start on Tuesday 9/9. You can also join the google classroom hpnqka6. Weight club is open to all BHS students every Tuesday and Thursday until 3pm.
Starting Sept. 11th, Nintendo Club will meet every Thursday in A9. We play different games on the switch, including mario kart, mario party, and smash bros, and more! Bring your switch or controller if you have one. See Mr. Bateman in A8 if you have any questions.

Summer Reading Incentive!
Attention students! Anyone who read a book this summer is encouraged to submit a book review (print or digital) to Mrs. Parrillo by Friday, Sept. 12th at 2pm to be included in a summer reading recognition celebration to be held in the media center at a later date. SENIORS: Are you headed off to college and worried about the cost? The VFW has several scholarship opportunities for you and we have a BHS Alumni who is also a veteran coming to BHS to give you some information about how to apply and what you could get! If you are interested in this 15-20 minute presentation at the start of period 1 on September 10th, please fill out the google form link BY THIS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH to be included in the attendance for the meeting! The top prize is $35,000.

BHS Student Council is selling pink out t-shirts in preparation for our District-Wide Pink Out Day on Friday October 3rd. Shirts are $15 each, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Foundation. If you would like to order a shirt, please complete the pre-order form accessed through the QR code on the Pink Out flyer in your morning announcements.
