THE ONE: International Blockchain Olympiad 2023
Amsterdam, Netherlands
We won the championship, and we travelled for the next 10 days in 3 more countries at Europe including France, Germany and Switzerland! I met tons of people from almost 50 countries who participated in the competition. Super fun!!!

Let's go back to the beginning.....

THE FIRST & SECOND ONE
After starting my undergrad, I won my first award in an intra-university project show out of almost 100 teams at the Advanced Object Oriented Programming Course for ECMS Desktop. Till the prize-giving ceremony (obviously delayed because of COVID) we had already won another award for Database Management Lab. Good days!

THE FINAL ONE (not really)
My final project, NurtureAID, developed at the Software Engineering Lab, secured a hat-trick victory at the intra-university project show, competing against 100+ teams and judged by industry experts. I didn't know but this win was just the beginning of my journey with the product. Many more to come!!

Heading towards National Level Comps....

THE FIRST NATIONAL ONE
It was our first national competition, and I had the privilege of leading my team through three rigorous rounds of the National Blockchain Olympiad 2023, competing against nearly 150 teams. Our project, IPBlockchainPro, a decentralized webapp for intellectual property protection, stood out for its innovation and execution. We emerged as national winners, a milestone that not only earned us a place in the International Blockchain Olympiad but also became a turning point in my journey, opening doors I hadn’t even imagined.

THE DATATHON ONE
Well, in my fourth year, I chose data science as my major since then, I wanted to participate in a datathon. That opportunity arrived with the Bengali.AI Datathon, where the challenge was as unique as it was complex: transcribing Bengali regional dialects into IPA. Together with my team, we didn’t just build a solution; we crafted a novel model that stood out for both its performance and design. We won the competition, earning national recognition not only for accuracy but also for our contribution to advancing Bengali language processing.

THE DISRUPTIVE ONE

THE FUNDED ONE
Our journey with Mindwave Analytics continued as our team, Neurons, proudly claimed the top spot at Launchpad by UIHP@UIU. Competing with the brightest minds we turned heads with a product that reshapes how brands understand and connect with their audience at the subconscious level. Finally, we secured a 100K BDT fund for our state-of-the-art neuromarketing solution.

THE MERGED ONE
My final shot was a dream realized. I brought together the best collaborators from Team Apocalypse and Team Neurons to form Team Neurix for the national round of the Harvard HSIL Hackathon. Over an intense 48-hour sprint, we built Haven, a BCI-powered, emotionally intelligent multi-agent AI for mental health support that listens, understands, and responds with empathy. We emerged as national champions and advanced to the international round.
