The laboratory for the study of social perception of emotions
The Laboratory for the Study of Social Perception of Emotions was established in 2016 and is managed by Prof. Shlomo Hareli who is a faculty ember of the School of Business Administration.
The laboratory conducts research that examines mainly what people witnessing
emotional expressions of others infer from such expressions and what are the
mechanisms responsible for these inferences. Other studies focus on the role of
context on perception and social judgments.
Researchers and research students work in the laboratory on various projects, some of which are carried out in collaboration with researchers and laboratories from abroad.
