Who We Are
The Bryker Woods PTA is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that brings together families, staff, and community partners in support of Bryker Woods Elementary. We work alongside school leadership to strengthen our school community and expand opportunities for every student.
We envision a thriving Bryker Woods where every student has access to exceptional opportunities, every family feels connected, and our community works together to strengthen public education.
What Guides Our Work
We are guided by four enduring commitments that shape every decision we make. Together, they reflect our dedication to students, our community, and the long-term success of public education.
Every decision begins with what is best for students.
We support programs, educators, and opportunities that enrich every student's educational experience. Whether funding classroom resources, supporting the International Baccalaureate Programme, or investing in enrichment beyond the school day, our goal is to help every Bryker Woods student thrive.
Strong schools are built by strong communities.
We bring together families, staff, neighbors, and local businesses to create meaningful connections that strengthen Bryker Woods. Through volunteerism, school events, and shared experiences, we foster a welcoming and engaged community where everyone has a place.
We believe strong public schools thrive together.
Each year, the Bryker Woods PTA dedicates funding and volunteer support to strengthen neighboring school communities. We share ideas, collaborate with fellow PTAs, and invest beyond our own campus because we believe every child deserves access to an excellent public education. When schools succeed together, our entire community is stronger.
We believe public education deserves strong advocates.
We partner with school leadership and engage with our district and community to champion policies, programs, and investments that support students and educators. We believe thoughtful advocacy today helps create stronger schools for future generations.
